What happens in a feasibility study?

What is a feasibility study?

To conduct a feasibility study, we meet with the client to discuss ideas and aspirations for the project and to understand what is needed. We will also conduct a site visit to assess its suitability.

Preliminary designs and drawings of the project will then be created to provide an initial illustration that offer clients a great way to visualise their ideas and explore them further.

Why complete a feasibility study?

Feasibility studies can be a vital tool in helping to ensure the success of a project by establishing good foundation from which to move forward.

Feasibility studies also offer the following benefits to clients:

  • Save costs by understanding the viability of a project before investing too much time and money

  • Can be used to approach planning authorities for a sense of the likelihood that the project would be approved

  • Provide a detailed examination that answers key questions and prompts further ones for greater clarity

  • Provide better project cost estimations from preliminary designs

  • Help clients understand the undertaking before starting

  • Identify alternatives options for consideration

  • Help secure investors to understand the potential value of proposed development

If you are thinking about a building or redevelopment project and would like to explore the idea, conducting a feasibility study could help realise its potential.
