Robert Rigby Architects are working with The University of Reading’s School of Architecture by mentoring a student in their third year at University.
Student, Torin Kenny will be learning from the Robert Rigby Architects team over the next year, joining us on site, in the office and at meetings to gain experience in the field of architecture.
Torin is currently completing the BSc Architecture course at The University of Reading and working on real-time projects will help him on his path to becoming a qualified architect. The experience that Torin will gain will form part of his Professional Experience and Development Record (PEDR).
The PEDR was developed by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to help architectural students record their professional experience and development in the workplace as part of their minimum seven years' education and training leading to qualification as an architect.
The work that Torin completes at Robert Rigby Architects will form a vital part of this record.
